HOW TO CONVERT

RFM-2100 (SHAW DIRECT)

RFM-3100 (DISH NETWORK / BELL TV)

The RFM-2100 SHAW Direct mount comes pre-wired with 4 coax cables. This will allow for 2

SHAW PVR's. The RFM-3100 (Dish Network / Bell TV) will only use 3 coax cables. Follow this

procedure and the conversion will be complete.

Converting a RFM-2100 to a RFM-3100

 Order a RFM-3100 LNB Arm Kit. It comes with LNB Arm and Dish 1000.2 Dish Pro Plus LNB.

 Assemble the mount or replace the RFM-2100 LNB Arm using the RFM-3100 LNB Arm Kit.

 Attach only the Green Coax cables to the Dish Network / Bell TV LNB (see picture below).

 DO NOT CONNECT THE RED COAX . IT IS NOT TO BE USED.

 Any one of the Green coax cables can attach to the RFM-1000/1100 controller to the connection

marked "Antenna".

 Set your configurable Dip Switches to 2 up for Dish Network or 3 up for Bell TV.

Dish Network / Bell TV

Dish 1000.2 Dish Pro Plus LNB

The Dish 1000.2 Dish Pro Plus LNB has a port which is labeled "LNB IN" and is used when a

home system would like access to an additional satellite antenna which would look at a satellite other than

what the Dish 1000.2 can provide. It should not be used with the RFM-3100 system. If you connect to

this port it will not provide your system with an "output" signal.
